A Quick Look at Eyebrook Reservoir, Rutland Side!

Grey Heron

Eyebrook Reservoir is one of my favourites, but I have not visited during the summer months. I did not expect a great deal and hoped to see Osprey fishing. Alas I was to be disappointed! The inlet mud held three   Green Sandpipers but not much else of note. The bridge over the inlet stream gave reasonable views of Common Whitethroat, Yellowhammer and Willow Warbler.
