This morning our walk took us south from Bempton, encompassing Bolam Lane, Bempton Lane, Short Lane and Newsham Hill Lane. This is not a route I would normally consider, but with the ongoing closure of Bempton Lane, traffic is light. That is, until you get to Newsham Hill Lane, whereby you become a nuisance to the progress of the motorised public, possibly even a target! A pleasant, cool and frosty walk.
