Christmas Sojourn, Sacriston, Durham - 24th December 2022

Christmas this year was spent in the proud mining village of Sacriston, near Durham, in our daughter Abigail's new home. An excellent four days! The colliery was closed c1985 and nature has taken over the pit, with very little evidence now obvious. A walk through the village enabled evidence of it's proud past to be remembered.
