Kilnsea (Spurn) - 4th October 2022

Barred Warbler

A rare trip out today with a trip down to Kilnsea. I had great expectations, but they were soon dashed with most birds on the lagoons being very distant, very few passerines and poor photography (most images being very heavily cropped). Four year ticks in the form of Barred Warbler (life tick for Heather), Pintail, Avocet and Grey Plover, so a bit of a result. 'Twas a tad windy, but at least it didn't rain!

Barred Warbler, today this bird was very elusive and flighty!
