A later than planned walk to the cliffs on a lovely cool, autumnal morning. Not a lot to see from my perspective but I'm sure the obsessional birders will come up with a list of what I miss 😇!
At the top of Cliff Lane, in the stubble field, my attention was drawn to eleven Grey Partridges in the company of a female Pheasant
Gannets can still be seen around the cliffs, mainly in flight, but a small number can be seen on the ledges
I love the cliffs in spring when Red Campion is in full bloom. I'm not sure if this bloom is very late or very early!

Tree Sparrows are well in the majority on Bempton Cliffs but House Sparrows remain scarce and therefore a pleasure to see. I believe House Sparrows bred on the cliffs for the first time this year.
