Thornwick Pool - 23rd July 2018

Lesser Black Backed Gull

Symphony was booked in for grooming at Flamborough allowing a couple of hours to be spent at Thornwick Pool. Another very hot day made the hide feel like a sweatbox! The pool held a single Little Ringed Plover, two Dunlin, eight juvenile Shelduck, a first summer Common Gull, numerous Canada and Grey Lag Geese, Moorhens with young (various ages), Mallards, Lesser Black Backed, Herring and Black Headed Gulls.
