RSPB Bempton Cliffs (Part 1) - 17th May 2015
An excellent day at RSPB Bempton Cliffs in the good company of the Coventry and Warwickshire RSPB Group. Leaving Coventry in warm sunshine, we drove through a mixture of sunshine and showers before arriving at Bempton for about five hours on the cliffs enjoying this vast seabird colony. No further rain, but a fresh wind blew off land, eventually causing me to done my coat for warmth. Today, I was not travelling light! I had three cameras - Canon 500mm; Canon 400mm and my Olympus Bridge camera. All were used and the downside was hundreds of images to trawl through! Today's sightings can be seen at the end of this post. I have also split my posts into several parts!
