Draycote Water Sunrise! - 3rd December 2014
With the prospect of a good, crisp, sunny day, I arrived at Draycote Water in time to watch the sun rise. Standing on Farborough Bank and looking across the Grandborough Valley, I managed to capture the sun as it appeared above the horizon, an event that lasted a mere fifteen minutes! I suppose that if I could sing, I would be singing "the sun has got his hat on.....", but my mind quickly thought of another song/poem "...the north wind does blow......"! It was not a day for loitering!
