Draycote Water

You can see the whole of Britain from Draycote Water!

Leaving the house at 0745 with the promise of a fine, sunny day, I was rather disappointed to arrive at Draycote and find it shrouded in thick mist! However, as the day improved, I was able to diversify my photography and take advantage of the developing conditions. It is not every day that you can see the whole of Britain from Draycote!

My greeting! Early morning fog

Away from the water the morning was brightening

Away from the water the day brightens

A window of opportunity begins to open

The reason that I could not locate the Lesser Scaup in Toft?
