Forge Valley and Hilla Green - 13th January 2020

Dipper @ Hilla Green

A couple of hours this morning at the Forge Valley feeders and a visit to Hilla Green. The forecast was for a bright morning and a dully but very windy afternoon so we made a good choice! The feeders were, however, darker than foreseen resulting in high ISO images, even with my 300mm 2.8 lens, minus its extender! It was very nice sitting in the car watching the wildlife.

Marsh Tit

Great Spotted Woodpecker

Nuthatch

Treecreeper

Blue Tit

Great Tit

We shall return!
