Peregrine
Today was destined to be glorious with light winds, blue skies and sunshine - a real spring morning! It didn't take much persuasion to get me out into the great outdoors, but today for a change, I decided to walk from North Landing to Flamborough Head, again in the hope of some spring migrants. I did manage a Sand Martin near the lighthouse! The Auks seemed to be back on the cliffs in good numbers, particularly the Razorbills and Guillemots but Puffins were still sparse. I decided that I would take images of wildlife and landscapes so this blog post is mainly photographic.
Guillemots
Very "tyred" Herring Gulls!
It was great to see the local Peregrine
Linnet
This Puffin was near the foghorn station
Meadow Pipit
Herring Gull "disagreement"!
"Bert, no! No you're not going to fight!" "Bert, come back, come back her, it'll end in tears!".
You can't beat a good Shag on the rocks, under blue skies with warm sunshine and salt spray!
And now for the landscapes:
Cliff faces or faces in the cliffs? Every time I look at these images, I can see more faces!
The magnificent views:
No wonder I can't find much to photograph Kevin, you've got it all up there. Like the peregrine shots. Mike.
