RSPB Bempton Cliffs

Gannet

A good seven hours spent volunteering at RSPB Bempton Cliffs, today on the new and extended Bartlett Nab viewpoint! Work has taken place to replace the old viewpoint and the paths leading to it, making it accessible to all abilities. The viewpoint has been extended outwards, giving breathtaking views over the cliffs and directly down to the sea, opening up areas previously visible only from the sea. Today, I was pleased to see my first Puffins of the year, six in total, distant and on the sea.
