A Wet, Wet, Wet, Summer Day!

Humming Bird Hawk Moth

Well, I suppose the weather could have been a lot worse, the best being heavy drizzle all day! Sitting in the lounge, I noticed a rapidly moving insect on the neighbours buddleia and further investigation revealed a rather wet Humming Bird Hawk Moth. A quick scramble to find a camera resulted in me standing in the rain trying to increase the camera speed with a high ISO. A garden first for me and a little bit of cheer for a rather horrid day!
