Draycote Water - Love, Scraps and Good Stretch!

Mallard

At this time of year there is a great number of territorial disputes as pairs attempt to mate and establish themselves. This pair of Mallard were captured mating, oblivious to all around!

Nearby, a number of Coots were having a bit of a scrap as interlopers encroached upon their perceived territory!

And while the mating and territorial disputes were occurring, a Tufted Duck has a laid back stretch!
