North Norfolk 7th - 10th October 2013

Spotted Redshank with Black Tailed Godwit

Myself and Heather decided on a few days to be spent on the North Norfolk coast and a bed & breakfast (Sunset Inn - http://sunsetinn.co.uk/) was booked in Hunstanton for three nights. The accommodation was very comfortable and the breakfasts were excellent. Norfolk in October must be good, mustn't it? Well the previous week had good birds being reported.............but for us, nothing too special! This was made even worse with the RBA reporting birds in the area we had just left, all the way home! However 96 species was far from a disaster!

It was nice to meet up with Karl S, Dave N and Clive A on several occasions. Karl travelling from the West Midlands on his motor scooter was most impressive.
