Warwickshire Walkabout

Muntjac Deer

I am not very motivated at the moment and following a shift from hell yesterday at work, I needed some solitude, so roamed aimlessly through some local Warwickshire countryside. It was nice to find my first Spotted Flycatchers of the year. As a kid, Spotted Flycatchers were regular in our garden (but alas no longer). I always remember the old lady next door, when asked if she had seen the Spotted Flycatchers, replying, "no, but I have seen plenty of spotted flies"! These little devils did not want to come into the light!
