North Wales - May 26th 2013

Fantastic views from the cottage!

Staying at a very pleasant and remote cottage near the hamlet of Nebo in the hills above the Conwy valley!

A nice garden tick - one of three Wheatear!

Plenty of Ravens around

Meeting the neighbours!

A very pleasant day spent in the "honeypot" town of Betws-y-Coed amongst the sunny bank holiday weekend crowds. Just the way I like it - not! However, it was still possible to do some birding!

  5. Nice pics, we go to North Wales every year as my husband has family up there, great place for wildlife. Your job I assume is shift work and I think the good thing about shifts is that you can get out into the countryside when everyone else is at work! I am a palliative care nurse and I actually like shift!....well, not nights! Good pictures again though.

  6. Cheers Goosey. Yes I work shifts and enjoy having time off during the week as not so busy. North Wales is great with excellent wildlife. More to follow!
